The Sun is transiting the Gene Key 61 and we’re being invited to explore the deep inner recesses of the mind… how juicy!
Be sure to grab your Gene Keys book or the 64 Ways Audios and read/listen to the Gene Key 61. Spend time contemplating what this energy means to YOU!
The Shadow of Psychosis moves to the Siddhi of Sanctity through the Gift of Inspiration.
The Shadow of Psychosis
I know that psychosis sounds like an intense word, but stick with me here for a moment! As Richard Rudd puts it, “.. psychosis is in fact the ordinary state of the mass consciousness of humanity in the world today,” (The Gene Keys Book).
The shadow of psychosis has to do with having an obscured mind. So many of us walk around in our heads, not fully present in the moment with a million thoughts zinging through our mind each moment. We are fraught with mental pressure constantly. This particular Gene Key is deeply connected to the question, “Why?” which places us on an endless pursuit for understanding.
The shadow of Psychosis is ruled by logic alone, which is only one dimension of where truth exists. The repressed version of this shadow is disenchantment which manifests as a deep sense of ‘giving up’ on the pursuit of truth. In the reactive version, it manifests as fanatical, becoming obsessed with the questions in their own mind and focusing in on only one answer.
The Gift of Inspiration
Ah. I really love this one. Inspiration comes not from a pep talk, but from the willingness to constantly dismantle your own personal realities and open up to new possibilities and expressions.
Instead of the questions haunting you, they inspire you to seek new answers - first from external sources and then eventually through turning inward and discovering them within yourself. Inspiration will come like a flash of insight that shifts the way that you perceive yourself or life around you.
Through asking questions, you stimulate the quantum field to provide answers to you at an unknown time. You then take those inspirations and channel them into something creative.
The Siddhi of Sanctity
I love the Siddhi of the 61st Gene Key because this is the space where all thought and mental activity simply stops. The questioning stops. The question of why stops. You become empty and full with what is. We become fully ok with living life without answers, immersed in the beautiful, bountiful, pregnant present moment.
Today, I want to share with you Amanda Foley’s personal experience with the Gene Key 61, which is in her Sphere of Life’s Work.
Amanda is a PR Coach with Curate Your Soul. She serves as a publicist for some clients but she primarily helps entrepreneurs in the soul care/personal development space understand PR and learn to become their own PR specialists in a way that is achievable and feels manageable. Check out her story below:
“Gene Key 61 is my Life’s Work on the Golden Path and for most of my life I’ve followed a traditional path, especially with my healthcare PR career. I always had a sense I was meant for something more, but searching for purpose ironically felt frivolous in a world dominated by the mind and practicality.
Regardless, the more I ‘succeeded’ the more disenchanted I felt. There were periods when my work felt ok, but the internal struggle persisted and really did have me in the shadow of psychosis wondering what was wrong with me? I had achieved so much, I had done everything ‘right’ and yet I still didn’t feel satisfied. I wasn’t really living my purpose, but just settling.
A couple of years ago I took up some new hobbies, one was learning to crochet. I mastered it quickly and started a small side business selling wearables called Be Basic A.F. Although I didn't enjoy the pressure of having to fill orders, I loved the peace and stillness this creativity brought me. It quieted my mind and showed me that I was able to meditate, something that had always eluded me. I began to shift, just a little.
And then an unexpected change in 2021 left me at a career crossroads and I took a step back from my corporate consulting work. It kicked off a magical period of inspiration in my life – doing everything exactly the opposite of how I had ever done it before.
Trusting myself and my intuition, surrendering to the flow of unscheduled days, doing the inner work, meeting new friends and mentors, and finally allowing myself to lean into who I had always been, but never allowed myself to be. I took trusting steps without being able to see exactly what was next. I let go of control and, as dramatic as it may sound, it changed everything.
This experience led me to shift my work into the soul care and personal development space as a PR coach and consultant, helping entrepreneurs increase their visibility by getting featured by news outlets and on podcasts. I learned that many don’t align with common marketing practices and was inspired to help them market in a way that feels good. Incorporating Human Design and the Gene Keys was the perfect finishing touch because it empowers them to communicate in a way that is authentic and makes them magnetic.
I found the Gene Keys late in that journey, and when I dove into Gene Key 61 it stopped me in my tracks when I saw I had lived these exact energies over the prior 18 months. Stepping out of the shadow of psychosis and going inward inspired a revolution within me. It was a complete reboot as I let it all go and allowed myself to finally break out of the mold and live life without fear. I now get to do fulfilling work that I love, living in my authenticity, and teaching others that it is possible to do the same!”
Thank you for your submission Amanda! I 10/10 recommend connecting with Amanda if you are interested in taking your business to the next level through PR in 2023!

What are a few questions on your mind right now that you can ask in a new way to activate inspiration and creativity in your life?
Remember, when we ask a question, we don’t search for an answer - we know that inspiration will come in a flash when we may not expect it and our creativity will be activated.
I would love to hear from you - what is your relationship like to your mind? How do you move beyond fear to inspire new layers of thinking in your life?
