The Sun is moving through the Gene Key 63 from 3/2-3/7 inviting us to explore the themes of doubt vs inquiry in our lives.
Be sure to grab your Gene Keys book or the 64 Ways Audios and read/listen to the Gene Key 63. Spend time contemplating what this energy means to YOU!
The Shadow of Doubt moves to the Siddhi of Truth through the Gift of Inquiry.
The Shadow of Doubt
Doubt. Are you familiar with this word?
I think it is pretty safe to say that we have ALL had an experience of doubting ourselves at least ONCE in our lifetime. Doubt happens when we get out of touch with our imagination. We begin to ask ourselves questions that LIMIT us vs questions that expand what could be possible for us. Doubt creates mental pressure that can keep us feeling stuck or inert.
In the shadow, questioning ourselves becomes our downfall while at the gift level, questioning ourselves opens up new and exciting possibilities.
The Gift of Inquiry
The gift of inquiry invites us to pause. To slow down the worried mind and open to new possibilities. Instead of asking questions that stop us or limit us, we ask questions that stimulate new ways of thinking.
The shift from the shadow to the gift reminds me of this quote from a poem by Eric Hanson:
“There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask "What if I fall?"
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?”
― Erin Hanson
This poem shifts from looking at the energy of what could possibly go wrong into the energy of what could possibly go right! This is what the gift of inquiry is all about. Asking new questions that lead to new possibilities within ourselves.
The Siddhi of Truth
We come to truth within ourselves when we come into a full space of surrender. The paradox here is that there is never not truth - not even at the shadow level. Truth is in the now - so your invitation is to come more into the now moment and be with what is here, present, and alive!
Let’s put this into a tangible example…
Let’s look at an example. For a moment, pretend that you are considering opening a new business.
Through the shadow of doubt, you might find yourself asking questions such as, “What if I fail?” “What if no one signs up?” These are questions that stop you from taking action.
However, at the gift level, you might find yourself asking questions such as, “What else could be possible for me if I succeed?” “What other creative ideas can I incorporate into this plan to reach more people?” “How will creating this business open up new doors and opportunities for me and my family?”
Do you see how the shadow would keep you inert while the gift could open you to possibilities beyond your wildest imagination?
And the result is surrendering to the truth of the moment!
Contemplation Questions/Activity For The Week:
Where in your life are you stuck in the energy of doubt?
Write down the doubts in your mind - allow yourself to fully let them out!
Turn those doubts into questions that could lead to new possibilities and see what happens as a result :)
Make it a great day <3
